April basically disappeared. I have no idea where the time has gone, but apparently another month has passed and so here’s a round of everything I’ve been reading, including a foray into non-fiction which I thoroughly enjoyed and a reread of one of my favourite books from last year.

What I Read in February

February was a slower reading month, which I will partly blame on the fact it’s a shorter month…in reality, I think I just wasn’t enjoying everything I was reading. The pick for my book club wasn’t one I was particularly interested in, and I find that always has a negative impact on the rest of my reading for the month – I don’t feel like reading the book club book, but I feel guilty if I read anything else…so I don’t read anything…basically I can’t win! What I Read in January

2018 has started with a bang.

For the first time ever, I actually read all of the books I was given for Christmas in January. Granted, I was only given 4 books this year (well, 5 if you include a picture book version of Pride & Prejudice!) – but I’m still feeling pretty smug that I got my butt into gear and read my new books straight away, rather than leaving them on the shelf for months [years] and feeling guilty for never quite getting round to reading them… Continue reading “What I Read in January”
